Marina Maria is a lovely beach situated in the north east of Sardinia. Nearby is the town of Olbia where tourists can find everything they may need whilst on holiday. There are also many hotels, restaurants and supermarkets very close to the beach.
To get to the beach, head south on the SS 125 towards Siniscola. When you get to Murta Maria, which is the first small village on this road, take the first turning on the left. This track, which is signposted “Marina Maria spiagga” will take you to the beach where you will find a parking area. Once at the parking area you will need to cross a small bridge on foot to get to the Marina Maria beach.
The salt swamps behind the beach mean that even on the hottest of days there is a cool refreshing sea breeze.
This beach boasts ideal windsurfing conditions all year round. The windsurf centre Marina Maria is situated in the centre of the beach and apart from offering refreshments, showers, sun beds, sunshades, canoes and pedal boats also rents out to its customers the best most up to date wind surfing equipment. It is worth mentioning that the beach is not packed full of tourists and we only set up our sun beds and shades on request leaving large areas free to set up surfing equipment and to relax.
We are a recognised surf centre and as well as having a life guard in service during opening hours we are also equipped with a life raft and first aid equipment.
